Ecology and evolution across scales

by Martino E. Malerba

Hello! Welcome to my website.

I am an ecologist and evolutionary biologist studying the mechanisms shaping aquatic primary productivity across scales.

At the macro scale, I use remote sensing to analyse phytoplankton dynamics and their effects on carbon cycles.

At the micro scale, I designed and managed the first artificial selection program with a microscopic organism, which is ongoing at Monash Uni. since 2016.

Please contact me if you want to learn more about my work. Enjoy!
